Lanka Premier League 2022: Lanka Premier League is an annual T20 cricket tournament organized by Sri Lankan Cricket Board (SLC). The third edition (3) of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be held in Colombo, Pallekele, Hambantota from 06 December to 23 December 2022.
There will be five teams that participate in Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2022 which are Jaffna Kings, Dambulla Giants, Kandy Falcons, Colombo Stars, and Galle Gladiators.
Jaffna Kings are the defending champion as they won the LPL for the second time in 2021. The player draft for the third edition of the Lanka Premier League 2022 – LPL 2022 cricket league was held in July.
A total of 353 players were lined up for the LPL 2022 draught, including 173 Sri Lankans and 180 players from outside. Players from various categories were acquired by the teams Colombo Stars, Jaffna Kings, Galle Gladiators, Kandy Falcons, and Dambulla Giants.

Lanka Premier League 2022 Venue:
The very first five games of the Lanka Premier League 2022 are scheduled to be played at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota. And next nine games are scheduled to be played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. And rest of the 10 games including playoffs and finals will be played at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
