ICC T20 World Cup 2022: T20 World Cup 2022 (also known as ICC T20 World Cup, ICC World Twenty20) is the International Cricket Council’s global Twenty20 International Cricket tournament. The marquee event’s eighth edition is set to take place in Australia from October 16 to November 13, 2022.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia was originally scheduled for 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed in July 2020 that the tournament had been postponed to 2022.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule and qualification pathway for the T20 World Cup 2022. The eighth edition of the T20 World Cup will be played between 16 teams: 11 teams from the T20 World Cup 2021, 2 teams from Global Qualifiers A and B, and Australia (as they are hosts of the tournament).
